The countdown has started. At the beginning of November, the Collaboration collection of Erdem and H & M will enter the shops. But somehow something is different this year. While in recent years, designers have been commended with big names, who have designed a mass collection with great sounds and a lot of advertising, 2017 will be a bit more solid and quiet. This year the creative minds from Sweden have announced the collaboration with the Turkish-Canadian designer Erdem. The designer is already a big name in the fashion world, but was previously definitely not available to a mass market. But apparently, both sides have been found and a beautiful collection of women’s and men’s clothing has emerged.
The designer Erdem Moralioglu shows fashion with his label Erdem, which is not really part of our fast-paced time. His creations revel in opulence. With Erdem, the Swedish fashion house presents a collection that is not only to appeal to the general public, but also to make high-quality tailoring work accessible to a broad public. Fine Jacquard, Harris-Tweed and Guipure have been turned into romantic models. The collection is in rather dark colours such as Navy, Fir Green, Violet andBlack. Accents of Mustard Yellow and elements of Leopard print. Still, the collection is anything but sad, reminiscent of an urban version of an English tea hour. The Erdem X H & M collection gives an elegant touch with opulent floral prints, volant dresses and transparent blouses.
The Erdem X H & M collection will be available from November 2, 2017 in selected stores, as well as on H & M Online.
